Listening Session with Representative Bob Kulp, Part 1
Tuesday, January 28th, 2014 -- 10:11 am
Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

-The newly elected Representative of the 69th District, Bob Kulp, held listening session throughout the area on Monday.

I attended Representative Kulp’s session at the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry office and listened as he addressed the concerns of citizens and asked him a few questions.

The representative started out the session talking about how things are going for him in the state capitol.

"Being new to the political scene, I'm learning a lot." said Representative Kulp. "It's a lot of fun. Its been engaging down there. Things have been coming together for me in a way that's actually making me happy. I was, frankly, a little worried that I wouldn't put the pieces together, but the pieces are coming together very well. I'm meeting a lot of new people and hearing a lot of concerns. What I've been trying to do is actually dig in and understand where the facts are. I've had the opportunity, for instance, on legislative issues to have Director Bob Lang from the Legislative Fiscal Bureau, it's a non-partisan group, he and I had a half hour conversation."

Representative Kulp held listening sessions in Granton, Marshfield and Abbotsford.
