-The Greenwood School Board approved changes to their Support Staff Handbook at their meeting on Monday.

Action was taken to add language to the support staff handbooks on page 19 of the current handbook and that information states: “Retiring full time staff members will receive OPEB benefits in the amount of $650/per month for five years with 20 years of employment in the Greenwood School District which can be used only toward health insurance premiums.”

The board also approved the second reading of the updated Electronics Policy, approved the volleyball Co-op with Granton and approved the cross country Co-op with Loyal.

The board approved the open enrollment seats the district has which the Department of Public Instruction requires. High School Principal Todd Fisher also talked about having a Winter Dance for the high school students, but no further action was taken.

Finally, the board approved a summer school pay increase proposal, raising pay from $15.00 per hour to $17.50 and this will begin this summer.
