DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY FOR STATE SENATE SEAT

There will be a primary election for an area state senate race.
Democrat Kathleen Vinehout, Alma, already announced she's running as a Democrat for the 31st District State Senate seat currently held by Republican Ron Brown of Eau Claire.
Now, Onalaska police officer Chris Danou has announced he’s running for the seat.
The Marshfield native and UW-Madison alum will compete with Vinehout during a September 12th primary.
The 31st District includes the Towns of Levis and Dewhurst in Clark County, much of Jackson, Buffalo and Trempealeau Counties and parts of Pierce and Eau Claire Counties.
