-A Black River Falls man was arrested for drunk driving with a child in the vehicle on Wednesday.

The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to assist 47-year-old Lance Rave after his locked his keys in his vehicle, locking his two-year-old child in the vehicle as well.

While the trooper was helping Rave, he detected the odor of alcohol on the driver and saw open containers of alcohol in the vehicle.

After preforming field sobriety tests on Rave, he promptly arrested him and charged him with OWI, 1st Offense with a child less than 16 year of age. The child was released to responsible family members.

It was also learned later that another incident with Rave had happened earlier in the day. He ran his vehicle of the road and into a ditch.
