-The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information about a stabbing that occurred on Wednesday near Osseo.

According to the department, on Wednesday night deputies responded to the Whispering Pines Tavern on South Prairie Road around 8pm.

Reports said that there was a fight happening and when the department arrived they found 44-year-old David Peterson of Osseo receiving treatment from emergency responders. Peterson had been stabbed in the abdomen, but the wound is considered non-life threatening.

36-year-old Richard West had allegedly stabbed Peterson and had left the tavern after the incident. He was found at his home on West Hillcrest Road, arrested for Aggravated Battery and taken to jail.
