COMMITTEE VOTES TO FILL UW-EXTENSION POSITION

Clark County’s Ag and Extension Education Committee has voted unanimously to fill a soon to be vacant county position.
After seven years, Dairy and Livestock agent Matt Jorgensen will be leaving his post on June 14th.
On Monday, the committee voted to refill the position, which is funded in part by the state of Wisconsin.
The opening will be posted both locally and regionally and the state will develop a list of potential candidates. The county and the state have final hiring authority. The process could take around three months to complete.
The Committee also named Crops and Soils agent Nick Schneider as the interim department head.
