 The Neillsville Recreation Department held their annual Disc Golf Tournament on Thursday, October 28th. The top score of the day for the 15 hole course was turned in by Aaron Watton who shot a 51. All participants received trophies or medals for their accomplishments. [ full story ]

A local community that’s been hard hit by the recession got some good news yesterday. [ 
Level Two of the WIAA Football Playoffs are scheduled for this Saturday around the state. [ 
Cross Country Sectionals were held over the weekend and some area teams are heading to State this Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids. [ 
Level 1 pairings for the WIAA football playoffs have been released. [ 
The field for the 2010 WIAA football playoffs has a number of area teams. [ 
Tight budgets have put many area counties in the strange position of fighting over inmates. [ 
Sectional Cross Country meets are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, October 22 & 23 in all divisions. 
Regional Quarterfinals in Divisions 2 - 4 will be played tonight in Girls Volleyball around the state. [ 
The result will be higher than expected tax rates. [ 
The volleyball coaches have met and have seeded their respective brackets for the 2010 tournament series. [ 
State Rep. Jeff Wood has been found guilty of his fourth OWI. [ 
The Western Cloverbelt won 5 and lost 2 to the East in the Conference crossover playoffs in girls volleyball on Tuesday night. [ 
Area residents got a chance to hear directly from a number of candidates for local, state and national offices during the Clark County Home and Community Education "Meet the Candidates Night" Sunday night. [ 
Over 50 boys and girls participated in the annual Neillsville Rec. Department's Football Olympics on Friday. [ 
The family of an 18-month-old boy fighting the affects of brain damage has been "blown away" by the community’s support. [ 
The Owen-Withee Blackhawks are the 2010 Eastern Cloverbelt Girls Volleyball Champions, finishing unbeaten at 9-0. [ 
The Neillsville Warrior football team will look to make it 3 wins in a row tonight as they play host to Auburndale. [ 
Flood-damaged trail still need repairs. Some segments could reopen next week. [ 
The Neillsville football team travels to Altoona tonight for a Cloverbelt matchup with the Railroaders. [
