WITHEE MAN DIES IN MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT

 A 55-year-old Withee man is dead after a late Sunday night motorcycle accident.
According to a Clark County Sheriff’s Department press release, a motorcycle, operated by Lannie Faude was eastbound on STH 29, just west of Thorp. A northbound truck, driven by 18-year-old Cody M. Birt of Stanley, pulled in front of Faude. The motorcycle struck the driver door area of the truck.
The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted from the scene by Spirit of Marshfield air medical transport and was later pronounced dead in the emergency room of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. The condition of the driver of the truck is unknown at this time.
This is 4th traffic fatality on Clark County roads this year.
