-Time Federal Savings Bank in Owen celebrated their move to a new location with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday.
Time Federal Savings Bank is now located on North Central Avenue in Owen, a welcome addition to the city’s main street.
State Senator Terry Moulton was on hand to offer his congratulations to Time Federal Savings Bank. He said, “It’s exciting to see good things happening in small towns, especially in the down town area.”
CDA Director of Owen, Tim Swiggum mentioned how he was “worried when the previous occupant of the building moved out, especially as it was on Main Street and that wasn’t the direction the city wanted to go.” However, he was very pleased when he heard about Time Federal moving into the building.
Finally, Linda Susa, Branch Manager of Time Federal, told me about the renovations done to the building. They replaced the ceiling, updated the wiring, expanded offices, donated historical items that were at the building, turned the teller area into a sit down teller area, created a break room, re-did the roof and added the usual paint, carpet and wallpaper.
