BOARD PUTS OFF ACTION ON CONSOLIDATION STUDY

“Maybe later”.
That’s the message the Neillsville School Board sent the Greenwood school board Monday night when tabling action on a proposed “Consolidation Feasibility Study”.
Neillsville Superintendent John Gaier says the board wants to wait to see what becomes of the Loyal/Greenwood study before entering into a similar study with Greenwood.
Loyal and Greenwood continue to hammer out details of their long-talked-about look at consolidation. Loyal’s School Board has stated they do not want to be part of a three-way study with Greenwood and Neillsville.
