New Squad Car for Greenwood

-The City of Greenwood will soon have a new squad car.

The city included the purchase in their 2013 budget and, during an officer’s report; a quote was given on a vehicle from two different sellers. The council gave the Greenwood Police Department the go ahead to purchase from one of them.

The new car will arrive in 4-6 weeks.

The council also briefly mentioned the public hearing regarding the city’s water rate increase on February 27th with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.

Finally, the council approved the write-off of a couple properties with the Wisconsin Development Fund. The city can borrow up to 9,000 dollars with the revolving loan.

In this case, the write off the David Oliver property, which the city ended up owning and selling, and the Paul Fauscett property due to bankruptcy issues.
