Taylor County Business Destroyed By Fire

-A Taylor County convenient store was completely destroyed by a fire early Saturday morning.
According to the Medford Police Department, an officer on patrol noticed smoke coming from the Main Street Convenience Store located in the City of Medford around 6:30am.
The Medford Fire Department was called to the scene and they request assistance from the Stetsonville Fire Department. A ladder truck was used to extinguish the flames and a backhoe pulled parts of the building down to prevent the fire from spreading to the adjacent building.
The business is a complete loss and the two adjacent businesses have smoke and water damage to them.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
