Black River Falls Man Sentenced to a Year in Prison

-A suspect involved in a string of burglaries in Jackson County has been sentenced to jail.
John Cook, of Black River Falls, was sentenced to one year in prison for burglarizing businesses in Hixton, Taylor, and Melrose.
Thousands of dollars were lost in stolen liquor, cigarettes, and other items.
Cook will spend one year in jail.
