-Appreciation is extended from the Red Cross to the many caring blood donors and volunteers within the community.

Because of them, the American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Neillsville American Legion on Monday succeeded in collecting 86 pints of life saving blood.

This blood may help save the lives of over 258 patients in need.

Of those giving blood several people have reached total amounts into the gallons. Judy Ratsch has donated 13 gallons, 9 gallons from Jerry Schmitz, Amy Harder has donated 7 gallons, James Iwanski, Anna Ringler, and Curtis Anding have all donated 5 gallons, and Lester Stutzman donated 2 gallons.

Menno Stutzman, Christ Hershberger, David Borntrager, and Kyle Ringler all donated for the first time.

The next Red Cross Blood Drive will be in Neillsville on March 4th at the American Legion.
