Car vs. Horse and Buggy Crash in Jackson County

-Police in Jackson County are investigation a crash between a vehicle and a horse and buggy.
The crash occurred after 7pm on Sunday at the intersection of Highway 10 and Highway M near Fairchild.
According to police, a vehicle driven by Chantel Formeister hit the Amish buggy that pulled out of a driveway into traffic.
The passenger of the buggy, Lydia Borntreger, was airlifted from the scene with serious injuries.
The driver of the buggy was not hurt.
