District Administrator's Report at Recent Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-Bob Houts, District Administrator of Owen-Withee gave a report at the recent Owen-Withee School Board Meeting.
Bob reported on the Race To The Top grant application that O-W is a part of through CESA 10. CESA 10 found out that they did not get funded on the grant. But, there are a lot of good ideas generated by the grant that Owen-Withee will try to implement.
Bob presented Rick Eloranta with his Wisconsin Rural Board of Education Member of the Year plaque that was presented by the Wisconsin Rural Schools Alliance.
He also congratulated Jim Scheuer and Denise Swartz on the terrific Christmas Concert and he handed out the 400 series of policies to the Owen-Withee Policy Committee for their review.
The Policy Committee reported that they will need to set a time to meet to begin going through the 400 Series
Finally, School Board President Stephen Heggemeier read a note from Marilyn Jaskot, thanking the Board for the opportunity to attend the SLATE Conference.
