Teacher and Staff Contracts at Recent Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-Teacher and support staff contracts were approved at the recent Owen-Withee School Board Meeting.
The OWEA and the Board negotiators agreed on a settlement of a 2.36% increase in wages for the teachers for the 2012-13 school year.
This increase will be divided amongst teachers based on each teacher getting an equal percent increase over their 2011-12 wage. The Board unanimously approved the agreement.
The OWEA Support Staff and the Board negotiations teams agreed to a 2.00% increase in wages for the support staff for the 2012-13 school year.
This increase will be divided amongst support staff members based on each person getting an equal percent increase over their 2011-12 wage. The Board unanimously approved the agreement.
