2013-14 Calendar, Policies, and Evaluation at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The 2013-2014 school calendar, 300 series policies, and administration evaluation were discussed at the Owen-Withee School Board Meeting on Monday.
The Board approved the 2013-14 calendar with one change from the version discussed at the November meeting. The teacher work day that was originally scheduled for Monday, January 27 has been moved to Friday, January 24. The approved version of the 2013-14 calendar can be viewed on the district’s web site.
The Board unanimously approved the 300 series, or Instruction Series, for the second time so they are now District policy. All of the District’s policies can be viewed on the District’s web site under the District Info button at the top of the page.
Finally, The Board is in the process of developing a new evaluation process for the District Administrator. Working in conjunction with the WASB, the board will develop this new process over the year. Until then, they will continue to use the same process that has been in place for the past 4 years.
