It is one of Central Wisconsin’s most mysterious unsolved homicides, but authorities say they have new leads that may crack the case.

Pat Zemke, 45, was found shot to death in his semi in November of 2003. The truck was parked on an Interstate 39 ramp in Portage County, near the Marathon County line.

Now, detectives have found new DNA evidence in that truck.

There have been no arrests, and investigators have not identified any possible suspects. Authorities held a press conference Tuesday morning in an attempt to elicit more information from the public.

Investigators don't think Zemke's murder was random, and that he was targeted by someone he knew.
