Dux Is National Champion!

Luke Dux of Neillsville is a National Champion in youth wrestling at 45 pounds.
Dux, a second grader, was competing in the Pre-Season Nationals at Cedar Falls, Iowa on Sunday. He started off the day with a bye and then won his next 4 matches including a 5-0 win in the finals.
Phillip Opelt, a senior at NHS, also competed at 126 lbs in the high school division on Saturday. Over 125 wrestlers were in that division alone and Phillip went 1-1 in his first two matches and then 2-1 in the consolation bracket.
