Charges Filed Against Marshfield Man Who Threatened Pregnant Woman

-Charges have been filed against a Marshfield man who soaked a pregnant woman in gasoline and threatened to set her on fire.

Tyler Ress, age 23, has seven total charges filed against him. They are 1st-degree recklessly endangering safety, strangulation and suffocation, false imprisonment, abortion of unborn child by another, battery, disorderly conduct, and contact after domestic abuse arrest.

Back in September, Ress punched a 28-year-old pregnant Marshfield woman multiple times and doused her in gasoline, threatening to light her on fire.

Ress is currently being held in the Wood County Jail and he’ll make an initial appearance on Monday.
