The 2012 WIAC Women's Volleyball Championship got underway last night with first round matches..
First Round
UW-Stevens Point (#1) - Bye
UW-Whitewater (#2) - Bye
UW-Oshkosh (#5) def. UW-River Falls (#4) 20-25, 26-24, 23-25, 25-20, 15-12 (at River Falls)
UW-Eau Claire (#3) def. UW-Stout (#6) 20-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-20 (at Eau Claire)
Friday, November 2
Semifinals (at UW-Stevens Point)
UW-Eau Claire vs. UW-Whitewater, 5 p.m.
UW-Oshkosh at UW-Stevens Point, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 3
Third-Place Match (at UW-Stevens Point)
Semifinal non-winners, Noon
Championship (at UW-Stevens Point)
Semifinal winners, 2:30 p.m.
Championship winner earns conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Championship
