Spencer & Marshfield Advance to Sectional Finals

The Spencer Rockets and Marshfield Tigers are one step away from the State Girls Volleyball Tournament in Green Bay.
Last night in Sectional Semi-Final action, Spencer downed Stevens Point Pacelli in 4 games - 25-18, 28-26, 23-25, 25-20 to advance to the Sectional Final on Saturday night at Marathon vs. Oconto. Spencer was a #4 seed in their Regional while Oconto was a #1 seed. The winner moves on to play next Friday in a Division 3 State Semi-Final at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
Also last night the Marshfield Tigers advanced to the Sectional final after downing Eau Claire North 3-1. The Tigers move on to play Merrill on Saturday night at Wausau East in the Sectional Final. The winner plays in a Division 1 State Quarterfinal next Thursday.
Eau Claire Regis and Wausau Newman also advanced to Sectional Finals on Saturday night.
