G2 vs. Loyal Higlights Playoff Rematches

Greenwood/Granton will face Loyal Friday night in a Level 1 Playoff Football game in Loyal in a Cloverwood Conference rematch from earlier in the season.
In a defensive struggle it was Loyal prevailing in week 3 at Loyal 13-6. The score did not reflect how dominant Loyal was, both running the football and on defense, in the second half of that game. Loyal, co-champs of the Cloverwood, sport at 7-1 record while G2 is 5-3. Game time this Friday night is 7 pm and you can hear it live on 92.7 FM WPKG.
Other conference rematches in Level 1 playoff football this weekend include:
Colby at Stanley-Boyd - Friday at 7 pm. Stanley-Boyd beat Colby in Week 5, 23-10. Up to that point those were the only points that the Orioles gave up all season. Stanley-Boyd comes in 7-1 while Colby, the defending Division 5 State Champs, is 6-2.
Gilman at Owen-Withee - Saturday at 1 pm. In week 6 it was all Owen-Withee when they downed the Pirates 41-6. Gilman is 4-4 and Owen-Withee, who finished in a 3-way tie for the Cloverwood Title, is 7-1.
Auburndale at Stratford - Friday at 7pm. These two teams played just last Friday and it was all Stratford 50-14. This is Tiger's head coach Cal Tacke's last season with Stratford who come in 6-2 while the Apaches are 5-3.
