Clark County's Register of Deeds Candidates

-Two highly qualified candidates are running for the title of Clark County’s Register of Deeds.
Both candidates, Marcia Ziegler, a Democrat, and Peggy Walter, a Republican, have strong ties to Clark County.
Peggy believes here impressive banking background will help her in this position. "I've had a working relationship with the Register of Deeds office for 23 years. 10 years I was employed in Owen as a bank loan and compliance officer."
Marcia expects her many years working for various Clark County Departments will allow her to be an effective Register of Deeds. "I have worked for the county for the past 18 years. I started working in the treasurers office, then the aging office, and now the veterans office."
Marcia said that if there is something she’s unsure about, she knows how to get the answer. "I have a great working relationship with all 72 counties in the state."
Peggy knows that if she is elected, technology is going to cause some big changes. "Going paperless is going to be a big change to look forward too."
