Taylor County Inmate's Death Investigated

-A Taylor County inmate appears to have committed suicide.
On Friday afternoon, jail staff discovered a 21 year old inmate hanging from a bed sheet.
The inmate was cut down and staff started CPR. The Medford EMS and Medevac personnel responded to the jail. The victim was taken to the Memorial Health Center in Medford.
All efforts to revive the inmate did prove futile however, and Jesse Holz, age 21, was pronounced dead of a self-inflicted hanging.
No foul play is suspected, but a thorough investigation is being performed.
Holz had been house in the jail for one week for misdemeanor charges.
There have been three other suicide attempts at the jail this year, but they were prevented.
