Positive News From Loyal School Board Meeting

-A lot of positive news came out during the recent Loyal School Board Meeting.
The school is sending a group down to Madison to accept the New Wisconsin School of Promise Award that was recently awarded to them. The district also found out that their ACT scores from last year were very good and they are above the state average in every category.
Loyal’s enrollment is stable this year, not too much up or down. The board also set their graduation for Memorial Day weekend in 2013.
There was a change to the cell phone policy. Students are now able to use their phones before school, after school, and during lunch.
Finally, the board discussed recent educational developments including the future of ACT 10 and Loyal’s report cards.
