NEILLSVILLE BOARD UPDATES OPEN ENROLLMENT TRANSPORTATION POLICY

The Neillsville school board Tuesday night addressed a new change to the state’s open enrollment policy. Until this point, districts have not been able to offer transportation to students coming to their school from another district, but a change in policy will allow that type of transportation – as long as both districts agree. The board authorized a policy that will allow other districts to pick up students in their district, as long as the other district allows Neillsville to pick up students in their district.
