NEILLSVILLE BOARD APPROVES TOWN OF SEIF ATTACHMENT

The Neillsville school board Monday night unanimously granted attachment to a small corner of the Town of Seif – but the issue is not closed.
Most of the Town is already in the Neillsville school district, but a small corner is in the Greenwood district. Residents in the area have gathered the needed signatures to detach from Greenwood and attach to Neillsville - but both school boards need to approve.
There are currently about eleven students and $3-million of property in the Greenwood district’s section of the township.
Greenwood’s board will consider the request at their meeting next week.
