Competency Hearing Ordered for Stanley Prison Inmate

-A Stanley Prison inmate has had a competency hearing ordered in a recent review hearing in Chippewa County Court.
Vern Stone assaulted a prison guard earlier this year. The guard suffered minor injuries.
Stone remains in prison and has a $1000 bond filed against him due to the attack. Also, he cannot abuse anyone verbally or physically.
The hearing will be held to determine if Stone is competent to stand trial for his attack on the guard.
The hearing is at the end of September.
