Greenwood Elementary Wins Award for Third Year

-The Greenwood Elementary School has won an award for the third year in a row.
The Greenwood Elementary has won the New Wisconsin School of Promise Recognition Award.
The award is given based on the poverty level of those attending and the student achievement in Math and Reading. Those criteria are then compared to similar school districts.
The Greenwood Elementary will receive Federal Title 1 funding for their accomplishment.
“We’re very excited about this. We’ve won for the third year in a row,” said Jennifer Vogler, Greenwood’s Superintendent. “We are looking forward to the award ceremony at the capital.”
The award ceremony is on October 2nd at the State Capitol in Madison.
