Construction of Marshfield Clinic Facility To Start in September

Construction of the new Marshfield Clinic facility in Stevens Point will start in September.

A groundbreaking ceremony kicking off construction will be at 10am on Sept. 10th at the 4100 Hwy 66 location.

Marshfield Clinic President, Dr. Brian Ewert will serve as emcee. Confirmed speakers include Stevens Point Mayor, Andrew Halverson; Stevens Point residents, Chuck Nason, representing the Clinic's National Advisory Council, and Bill Fonti, representing the Clinic's Development Committee; and Portage County Business Council Executive Director, Lori Dehlinger.

The Stevens Point Center building project will cost about $18.5 million, including land, infrastructure and equipment. It will house 17 providers and a total of 50 employees.
