-A Marshfield man will be going to trial for his part in a crime spree that occurred in Clark County.

Blade Multerer, age 16, is being tried as an adult in Clark County Circuit Court for the serious charges filed against him which include burglary, arson, vandalism, and more.

Assistant District Attorney Richard Lewis had offered a plea deal to Multerer and his attorney Matt Torgerson that reflected the seriousness of his crimes. Lewis did take into account Multerer’s young age; however, Lewis also took into account the seriousness of the crimes and Multerer’s role in them.

The deal was rejected and the defense requested a trial.

The trial is expected to last two days and will take place in November.
