Wood County Vehicle Thefts

-The Wood County Sheriff’s Department is investigating several vehicle thefts in the Township of Richfield and the Village of Hewitt.
The Marshfield Police department did locate one of the stolen vehicles in Marshfield.
The Marshfield Police tried to stop the stolen vehicle and a vehicle traveling with it. They failed to stop and fled from police.
One person was apprehended after his vehicle became disabled when it entered a Hayfield in the Town of Rock.
The other vehicle was stopped in the Township of Lynn here in Clark County with the assistance of the State Patrol and Clark County Sheriff’s Department.
A 16-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested and numerous charges are being requested by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department.
A total of six vehicles were stolen and no one was injured in the pursuit.
