Greenwood School Board's Productive Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board had a productive meeting on Monday night.
The mentors and advisors contract for the 2012-2013 school year were approved.
They also accepted the resignation of Chris Volsek, an elementary teacher’s aide.
Volunteers were also accepted to maintain the fields for sporting events and the school will be working with ADS in Greenwood to have individuals help with dishwashing and vacuuming.
The board approved their sub list, milk bid, and concussion testing contract. A couple long time subs were also hired. Rick Eloranta and Amy Linder will be subbing long term for Brad Helsten and Amanda Knecht due to maternity leave.
Finally, the hiring of several teachers and coaches was also approved which included Angie Moller for Phy Ed and as the Middle School Basketball Coach, Camille Baehr for 4-year-old Kindergarten, Kate Boos for Spanish, Brandon Peterson for Social Studies and as an advisor, Jeff Trunkel as the Head Football Coach, and Dan Poppy as the Middle School Football Coach.
