Loggers Win Game One of Summer Collegiate World Series

The La Crosse Loggers jumped out to an early lead and were led by a solid pitching performance and are now just one game from becoming the 2012 Northwoods League Champions.
The La Crosse Loggers jumped out to an early lead, as they led the Mankato MoonDogs 7-1 after four innings and never looked back. They would add two more runs in the sixth and three in the ninth for the 12-3 win.
Game two of the 2012 Summer Collegiate World Series between the Mankato MoonDogs and La Crosse Loggers is tonight at 7:05 p.m. in La Crosse. If the Loggers win they are the 2012 Northwoods League Champions.
