Marshfield Police Search for Car Theft Suspect

-The Marshfield Police Department is searching for a 17-year-old Marshfield boy who is the suspect in a car theft.

He is about 5 feet 9 inches tall with blond hair, wearing a red tank top and blue jeans. He was last seen in the 400 block of South Maple Avenue.

Officers approached him at about 1 p.m. today when he was behind the wheel of a car reported stolen, said Police Chief Gary Jepsen.

When he saw the officers, the boy got out of the car and ran southbound, Jepsen said.

If anyone knows the location of this boy or has information, please call the Wood County Dispatch Center at 715-387-4394.
