Ron Kind Visits Clark County

-Congressman Ron Kind paid a visit to Clark County on Tuesday, to meet and talk with local residents about issues on their minds.
Ron said the economy is his top priority right now. He is also trying very hard to get a 5 year farm bill passed.
Ron said that global competition is one of the biggest issues are economy is facing.
Ron elaborated on many other projects he is continuing to work on including health care reform, defense restructuring, his veteran’s history project, transportation, and more.
The main thing Ron would like to see when Congress resumes in September, it more bipartisan support. “Democracy can’t survive without that attitude,” Ron said, “You need compromise.”
