Local Youth Recipient of 4-H Dairy Leadership Award

-One local dairy enthusiast was the recipient of the James Crowley State 4-H Dairy Leadership Award.
A total of sixteen Wisconsin youth received the awards at the 2012 Wisconsin Junior State Fair this week.
They were rewarded for their outstanding dairy project work and leadership ability and each winner will receive a plaque provided by the James Crowley Dairy Management and Extension Fund.
Mckenzie Rowley of Loyal was one of the sixteen winners.
The award program is in honor and memory of James W. Crowley, longtime extension dairy specialist at UW Madison and strong supporter of dairy youth project work.
Also, in the large-herd competition, for champion herdsmen at the Junior State Fair, Clark County won second place.
