Granton Woman Dead After Head On Collision

-A Granton woman is dead after a two vehicle crash on Highway 10 east of Granton.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Department received a call about a two vehicle head on collision just after 5:00pm on Sunday.
The initial investigation shows that Diane Mitchell, age 69, of Granton was traveling west when she crossed into the eastbound lane striking another vehicle head on.
Mitchell died instantly and her passenger, Donna Tichey, age 69, of Black River Falls received serious injuries and she was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
The occupants of the other vehicle, Ramona Griffith, age 57, and Catherine Ruetten, age 90, both of Marshfield, received incapacitating injuries and were transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
The sheriff’s department is continuing the investigation of the crash.
