New Radio Tower for Clark County Courthouse

-The Clark County Courthouse will be getting a new radio tower.
The Clark County Board of Supervisors voted 25-1 last week to commit as much as $140,000 dollars to a new radio tower.
The tower that is already on top of the court house is overloaded and incapable of handling the weight of future technology needs.
Both Jim Backus, Chief Deputy of the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, and Michelle Hartness, Emergency Management Director, appeared before the board to argue the need of a new tower.
During the meeting, Jerome Krempasky of Greenwood was voted in to fill the empty seat left by the untimely and tragic death of Vic Gray.
There was some dispute among the board members as to the official rules on voting people in, but in the end Krempasky was voted in 18-8.
