A 24-year-old Neillsville man will spend nine months in jail and three years on probation after pleading guilty to selling cocaine at a downtown Neillsville bar.

Paul Ritter was sentenced Tuesday in Clark County Circuit Court. He was accused of selling the drug to an undercover agent at The Dog House last year. Agents eventually seized 2.7 grams of cocaine.

43-year-old Michael Kopf, the bar’s owner at the time, is also facing charges of maintaining a drug-trafficking place. A jury trial is slated for February 7th.

The establishment changed hands after Kopf’s liquor license was revoked by the Neillsville City Council.
