-A Gilman man has been found guilty of his 8th OWI in Clark County Court.

In February of this year, Adam Rivera was arrested near Owen for drunken driving his 8th offense.

The long list of charges filed against him included operating a vehicle with a revoked license, operating left of center, speeding in a 55 mph zone, OWI 8th offense, and operating with a PAC 8th offense.

The charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, operating left of center, and speeding in a 55 mph zone were dismissed back in April.

Rivera was found guilty of the 8th OWI due to a no contest plea and the charge of operating with a PAC 8th offense was dismissed, but read into the record.

Rivera was sentenced to 3 years in prison; 4 years extended supervision and owes the courts $251.00. He must also undergo any counseling deemed necessary, maintain employment, and is under different prohibitions.
