DA Rattles Witness in Koula Trial

-Eric Koula’s alibi witness testified today Koula didn’t have enough time to kill his parents in.
Michael Genz Jr. said Koula was helping him tile at his home until about 5:30 p.m.
However, Genz told investigators during several interviews that Koula left earlier. On cross examination, he slipped and told La Crosse County District Attorney Tim Gruenke his “best memory” of what time Koula left was what he told police during a July 29 interview.
Genz told investigators during that meeting that Koula left as early as 5 p.m.
Genz’s cellphone records also show he called his friend at 5:15 p.m.
