Fire Department Called to Marty's Supermarket

At around 4:21 this morning the Neillsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call of a deep fryer fire at Marty’s Supermarket.
According to Assistant Fire Chief Jeff Strangfeld the fire had been, for the most part, extinquished when they arrived thanks to a suppression system that was installed above the deep fryer that acts like an automatic fire extinquisher should something go wrong.
The department spent about a half hour on the scene.
