Greenwood Looking for New Principal

-The Greenwood School District is, once again, looking for a new junior/senior high school principal.

Corey Peterson, who has held the position since July, has resigned effective at the end of the school year.

Jennifer Vogler, Greenwood’s superintendent, said, “he’s been a huge asset to the district. A job opened closer to his home. It was unexpected. A job just popped up and he took it.”

The board is taking applications up to the 24th of May and they are hoping to have someone by June.

The principal would also fill the role of athletic director like Peterson did.

The Greenwood school district also hired Merlena Rank to fill the business education position and Jessica Novitzke to fill the elementary physical education position.
