U.W. River Falls In Regional Title Game

University of Wisconsin-River Falls won a pair of regional games in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship on Sunday, to earn the opportunity to play for regional title.
The Falcons opened the day with a 3-1 victory over Coe College (Iowa) in nine innings, and then upended Luther College (Iowa), 1-0, to force another matchup between the two teams. UW-River Falls (34-14) will meet Luther (39-7) for the regional crown this morning at 11 a.m.
The winner will receive a spot in the NCAA national championship series that will be played this coming weekend in Salem, Va.
