Local Causes Hoping for State Farm Grant

-The Neillsville community has two local causes hoping to receive a grant from the State Farm for Causes Event that would make a difference in the neighborhood.
The two causes are the Neillsville Area Community Center and literacy program at the Clark County Jail. They have been selected as finalists in the State Farm Cause An Effect program. Residents can help bring $25,000 to their community by voting via the State Farm Facebook Page.
Through May 17, the people of Neillsville are encouraged to visit the Cause An Effect app on Facebook and vote for their favorite local Cause. People can search by cause name, location or topic, and can vote up to 10 times per day.
The 40 causes that receive the most votes will each receive a $25,000 grant to help build safer, stronger, better educated communities.
