Exciting News Discussed at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School District had their board meeting yesterday evening.
The board took care of usual business items such as the first reading of their tech plan, approval of items they’re trying to sell, and listened to two Health Insurance presentations.
Superintendent Jennifer Vogler also said that students from the Greenwood High School will be attending a cyber-bullying presentation at the Loyal High School. Jennifer said that, “we’re very excited about the program. It’s a great way for student to learn about cyber-bullying and how to deal with it if it occurs.”
Finally, Marie Eckdahl was chosen by the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce to receive a Crystal Apple Award. “This is the second year a Greenwood teacher has been chosen and it’s very exciting. We are so proud of our teachers,” Superintendent Vogler said.
Marie will be honored at an awards banquet on October 3rd.
