Corporation Counsel has Filed Papers for District Attorney

-Lyndsey Brunette, the Clark County Corporation Counsel, has filed papers for the fall elections for Clark County District Attorney.
Lyndsey studied Criminal Justice at UW-Eau Claire and received an internship at the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office in Minnesota working for the gang prosecution unit. She said, “While I enjoyed getting the well-rounded experience, I missed the public service area of law which led me back to Wisconsin and the Corporation Counsel position. When Darwin announced his retirement, I was immediately interested in running for the office.”
Lyndsey said her experience as Corporation Counsel will help her because, “I have worked closely with the circuit court and my experience and working relationships throughout the County will be beneficial in furthering my work if elected as District Attorney.”
She said, “If elected, I look forward to continuing to protect the values and safety of Clark County citizens through fair prosecution.”
